I can see where you are coming from on the liar portion, because there is generally going to be some fancy footwork to get out of jury duty but the lazy part was totally uncalled for on his part and imho is a direct jab at FB.

If she were lazy it would be because she wanted to sit around on the couch eating bonbons masturbating to Oprah, not because she has business to take care of, a household to run and a child to deal with as well.

And think about it this way - If you were on trial, would you want a jury of peers who WANT to be there, or who are FORCED to be there?

I always believed in the "think before you speak or type", but that's me. Everyone has his/her own personality and will respond to situations differently.

Aside from violating board rules or turning this place into GFY2, I'm not about to tell someone how they should conduct themselves. Just because I would handle a situation a certain way, I don't expect others to do the same.

You know, I've never been called for jury duty. I always thought it would be exciting, but I just know tat hen my number comes up, it will be invariably a bad time to be away for a week, or even to have a possibility of being sequestered for an unknown amount of time.

Usually you show up and display that you have strong opinions. The lawyers usually strike each others' strongest thinkers out of the jury box, so that the middle-of-the-road types are all that's left.
