For me, i got 2 spams in my email than i had someone contact me to join the forum so he could get a shot at winning the initial contest of " whoever can get the most webmasters to join win 500.00 buks something like that " hehehe i think thats what it was for. :D

I was circumnavigating the globe in a rubber raft <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/_950/captain.gif" width="44" height="40"> when I arrived in Zimbobway. I met a man there who was trying to sell me a monkey.
I kept telling him no but he insisted. So, I gave in and bought the little guy and began to finish my journey. I decided to shave his ass, I mean cmon, no one wants a monkey with a hairy ass.
Once shaving I could make out what seemed to be a url of sorts.
I Typed it in and wound up here!

Evil Chris kidnapped my mom and told me that if I didn't sign up and post that he would do terrible things to her like force her to watch reruns of The Beveryly Hillbillies while eating hot buttered cheerios and singing folk songs. When he found out that she actually liked that sort of treatment he released her to me. I was going to hunt him down and take out my revenge but I realized I would do more harm by signing up to this board and putting my subversive little messages into the collective psyche of the members.

hmmm, I came here because someone asled me too - stuartd I believe.

I don't post here much.... not because I dont like the crowd but because for some reason this site always loads so slow on my pc - took about 25 seconds for this reply to load...

(And I am not just saying that because I run my own hosting company, I have never had a problem with the oxeo guys or any of their sites either... seems to be limited to just this one... scheisse)

It's probably because the forum is a database/resource intensive app to be running on a server. It's slow sometimes for me too. But not usually 25 seconds.
