OK Montreal, I have a question for you... Thoughts on CBC Radio?
Anyone shed some light for me on CBC radio? Are they "porn" friendly meaning that if they interview adult industry personnel are they more interested in being objective perhaps or more interested in finding a negative angle...
And is there conservative or religious agenda... any thoughts, experiences etc. with CBC radio, please let me know with your honest opinion, thanks! |
wait.. CBC mentioning anything porn/sex related???
|
I'd say they are more objective than private news shows. You have to ask yourself, has any public media ever portrayed the adult industry in a favorable or neutral light?

And YUP... plenty of public news outlets have portrayed the adult industry in a favorable and/or neutral light... Wired, LA Times and CNET have and those are just right off the top of my head.. |
CBC Radio is faily objective in my opinion. I don't think they'd be as friendly to the porn industry as the organization you mention but some of their shows ("Outfront" springs to mind) do deal with adult subject matter. Seems to me the key to dealing with the CBC is to be Canadian.

i got screwed over two months ago by CTV ...
CBC Radio one is very conservitive .. I used to work at CBC Television .. |
CBC is conservative but you do have the benefit of knowing its canadian, they arent going to be as crass and negative as the american media... here at least you get a fair shot. It may be a bit one sided, but not enough to create panic in the streets

Jay, why r u asking about CBC?
Is it just me, or was anyone else surprised to see someone south of the border familiar w CBC?! |
Thanks for all the feedback folks... they wanted to interview me and others for something. I think I've heard enough to make my decision :-)
