If you had 50K to put into this industry...
 

OK, let's say you have 50K to play with, and to make money from in the adult industry, what would you do?

Would you invest that money in surfers and memberships? Webmaster traffic? What would you do?

id get involved with a program or some sort of webmaster type thing i think

I myself..... would open up a small affiliate program similar to Lightspeed Cash, but much smaller - and invite only.

A line forms at the site's entrance... Webmasters are lining up at the back door in the alleyway, gripping their hats, hoping to be the next selected...

I think 50k is too small to open a cash program. 50k is the minimum nowadays just for the content only. I might be wrong but starting a paysite with less than that is a nonsense imho

then if you add the design, hosting, monthly bandwith costs, you may get way over the 50k

I would go speak with Baddog cause he has some really good sites to buy from time to time.

I would invest in what I have been workign on all along, I would buy traffic to run through my AVP sites, I would invest in some additional content and feeds for my AVS sites, I would basically put it into the things that I am now building income to support.

50k...
12k - prizes
5k - traffic (several sources)
8k - studio equipment
2k - print advertising
3k - design staff
10k - hire models
10k - invest for next year

Most of the prizes are for the affiliate program, and two prizes for a members drawing at the end of the year.

I would hire programmers and develop java games for mobiles.

make tgp on some natinal market like Spain, Italy ... etc

lol....costed me 15k to get only 10 scenes on my paysite....and counting....
50K? if you play it smart you can open a small affiliate program and invite WM only once u start rolling in the $$ then u open one site a week and keep it going and going...doesnt matter what ..as long as the surfer is happy and has enough content to last him a few months then it's a snowball effect ....u can only get bigger but people out there tried to make affiliate progs. work and no success...

you need money to make money and i say 50K is a very good start and if done properly you can get awa with 10 scenes for 5 sites =50 scenes with one generic update a week for each...feeds etc etc. and still have enough for design programing bandwidth etc etc...

I would shoot some short porno clips with actors and i will not need much money for that because i know editing and directing (i graduated editing) and with the rest i would buy equipment and open small affiliate program.
