Afraid to buy content?

Hi everyone. I've been seeing people posting on the boards about how they are not going to buy content until the 2257 issue is all out in the open. What are you thoughts on this? People still need content for their sites. What are you looking for in either content or a provider at this time?

I'm still purchasing content. Why should I stop buying it? It's not illegal to sell porn. We are just forced to keep better records of what content we have and what we did with it. As long as I get what I need from the supplier, I'm fine.

Excellent point, Panky. And I totally understand your position, FeTiShLaDy, but we all still have to keep going. It's just a matter of making sure all your ducks are in a row, that's all. :)

I think a big part of the problem is that people, for the most part, don't know what to look for in content or a provider. Everything is still being interpreted and figured out.
Most people don't undertand half of the new regs, much less know what it is that they need to do to be compliant.

For that matter, even the lawyers aren't 100% certain at this point... they're still researching it.
