Why I am the way I am

Mayonnaise is my favorite thing in the world. I'll make a piece of toast and put mayo on it. I put it on pizza crust once I've eaten the pizza part. I put it on burgers and fries and hot dogs (with a little ketchup and mustard). I love it. So, I was looking for something online the other day and I found a recipe for my favorite condiment. This answers so many questions.

Beat egg or egg yolks with a rotary beater until slightly thick; add 1 teaspoon oil at a time beating well after each addition, until 1/3 cup has been added. Add a few drops lemon or vinegar. The mixture should be quite thick and perfectly smooth. If it isn't you added the oil too quick or didn't beat it enough. Continue to add the oil and acid alternately until it's used up. Add seasonings to taste. Store covered in the refrigerator. :bonk:

Don, if all that mayonnaise keeps you bringing out great content sets, then keep it up.
PS. Have you ever tried Vegi-mite and mayo?
If you can keep that down, you will have it made ;)

Why I am the way I am? because I love the way I want to be... :)

Ha, that's an interesting way to say lemon juice. . .

On a side note, french fries with mayonnaise and barbeque sauce is the best snack EVER!!

OMG, okay I'm going to use that in a song. Did you know I wrote songs? I'm not in a band at the moment but I do write music. That statement would make a great song lyric. :)

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. That's why I love this board so much.

I like a lot of different kinds of music. I guess you could call the style of my songs "alternative". Not really crazy about rap or metal, I prefer old school country to modern, love folk, ambient, and punk. But my mix CD might have Stevie Nicks, Cyndi Lauper, Enya, Psychedelic Furs, The Postal Service, Deathcab for Cutie, Neil Diamond, Donny and Marie, Mashups, sample clips from old movies, and/or Theme songs from 70's sitcoms. So, I have a pretty ecelectic taste in music.

"Miracle Whip" is very tasty :D
(you can complain that I am spamming Kraft food products) ;)
and technically is not mayonnaise for the indgredients are
slightly different than what it takes to be considered mayo...! :)
