Question for all
Do you work with Dreamweaver 8?
|
No. Dreamweaver MX 7 something or other.
Why? |
I still prefer ultra dev 4 to MX, I have both
|
I haven't upgraded...I doubt there would be all that much changed to warrant me buying it...so I'm still with dreamweaver MX

No, just notepad for myself, but i have always wondered about how it uploads your pages and all files related to that page when a change was made on your hd.
|
I mostly upload through a different FTP client.
|
I should really start to get myself up to speed with dreamweaver though Panky cause more & more it can be clearly noticed the increasing trend in full css style sites mostly with mainstream though but would be very useful in adult more or less,.
|
I couldn't live without Dreamweaver. :D

Can it do a mass find and replace across 1000's of html files that wasn't first created through Dreamweaver? like homesite does? I am almost thinking of downloading the setup files again to take a closer look. |
Monaro,
It will. you can change it from visual design to the code view, or (my favorite) the split window showing both. It creates an index of files related to each site, and when there are changes (or changes that affect other pages) it keeps up with what needs to be re-uploaded. |
I love Dreamweaver. Yes I work with it but I dunno what version it is. (it's on my computer downstairs. I'm on FB's machine right now)
I think it's 7. Great tool. |
