Blog software???
I want to put together a blog, I could just manually design the site and manually input the content .. but I much rather use an admin page ..
Any one now of blog software .. free or in expensive ? |
Use dBlogger. http://www.dblogger.com It's completely customizable with an easy to use admin area. Very basic, but very effective.
Many people use WordPress. http://www.wordpress.org There's plenty of pre-made templates available for it, but some of them can be a bugger to use. WP has an easy to use admin area as well. |
Wordpress is the way to go IMO.

I'm still standing behind wordpress.
Nothing personal, Panky. |
I admit, I'd like to have more control over the "design" of my blogs (I've got my graphic artist kiddo on that one, though. I said "guess what *you're* going to learn how to do?" :) ) but the "couldn't be easier if it called for crayons" admin area of Wordpress makes it a whole lot worthwhile.
I can't get over some of those templates, though. Either WP is an absolute bitch to work with or it has drawn some of the blandest graphic artists in the world. It has the "light grey" one followed by the "medium grey" one followed by the...you get the picture. :) |
Thank you .. thank you very much

Hey Vid
I'm looking into open source content management software and you could use some of these like joomla or mambo to create/customize a site with a blog as a part of it... as well as photo content, news, etc... I vote for wordpress from research even if I'm still working out of blogger :( Though i've heard issues about wordpress and search engine friendliness... anybody else? |
