Is it software you're looking for here?
Or a service?

Either way I'm interested in knowing what comes of this.

Why do you want search engine submission software? Your best bet is to have the site linked from another that is already indexed. If you submit to the engines and the engines feel your site is not ready or is not of the quality they are looking for, you will get penalized for it. All the GoogleBot does 24/7 is follow one link to the next. If you link that site from a site already indexed, the spiders will crawl you a lot faster than using some submission software. By submitting to the engines, you will do far more damage to your site than you will do good.

There are only 3 engines you really need to be concerned about getting indexed by. The search engine submission software will submit your site to hundreds or thousands of supposed engines, but it's nothing but one big spam fest.

There's no benefit at all to using the search engine submission software at all.

Check for Web CEO, they have a free version which is limited. This software does more that just submit to SE and directories. It's one of the best SEO software out there.

Panky said it best. Was going to put in my 2cents but dats it... If you don't have friends yet, build them up while you spam linkdumps, visit adult surfer forums, submit to no-recip sites, whatever, build up a decent click-count and get those SE ears ringing a little...

Also, if you submit directly to the SEs, don't bother with the .coms, go for the .ca's.

You only need to do a couple sub-big-ones (google.ca, ca.yahoo.com) to get indexed in days...

SE is so long-term that you have to dedicate a lot of time to it. SE submission software doesn't check your stats and keyword results, analyze anything, tweak your pages... it just spambots and re-spams your site to SE's that already have you indexed.

Don't bother (don't spend!)

I use WebPosition Gold for my non-affiliate promo sites.

SearchWolf is bad, stay away. Fucked up an old box of mine.

Good stuff MediaGuy, thanks.
