Kellogg-Briand Pact 1928

Nope, it ain't a new recipe for cereals...

This treaty is still in force, signed by the United States of America, and never have been abrogated.

(I agree though that the private corporation "United States", headed by Georges Dabbelyou, has *very little* to do with the constitutional republic called the "united states of America; they are two distinct entities).

I found it at http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/imt/kbpact.htm

The Avalon project is a treasure trove of legal documents, some dating thousands of years. http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/avalon.htm

--------- excerpt ----------------
ARTICLE I
The High Contracting Parties solemly declare in the names of their respective peoples that they condemn recourse to war for the solution of international controversies, and renounce it, as an instrument of national policy in their relations with one another.

ARTICLE II
The High Contracting Parties agree that the settlement or solution of all disputes or conflicts of whatever nature or of whatever origin they may be, which may arise among them, shall never be sought except by pacific means.

I read a little about Polk. He didn't like Mexico very much.

Good stuff for insomniacs here! LOL

If only they had included Iraq, N. Korea, etc. we wouldn't have all these problems today. Darn it.
