australia shipment to us

a company shipped an item the wrong way and instead of using my ups account which gets delivered within two days they sent it via postal air mail. anyone ever ship that way between here and there? I am just curious in how long it will take. I am afraid it will take a month or something now.

I dont know about Australia, but between the US and Europe, it s about 9 business days ( regular mail )
