Ricky Gervais - Extras
 

Finally, Extras season 1 was released on DVD here and I picked it up over the weekend. I just watched the first episode with Kate Winslet.

It was much funnier than I expected. I'm anxious to watch more, but I'm not going to watch them all in one day. I won't have any left to look forward to.

Any other Ricky Gervais fans knockin about? :)

a lot of it is British 'in' jokes with the guest stars being from BBC tv shows and stuff but it is funny.

Chris, I like Ricky as well. Extras is pretty good too, but it doesn't quite measure up to the wild popularity he had with The Office.

Did you check out his podcasts?

Actually yes I have all the podcasts. They're really funny.
However I understand that his comedy isn't for everyone. It's not typical Brit humour either. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant do have their own styles but they mesh well.
