Volver - Pedro Almodovar http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0441909/ you either like Mr. Pedro´s movies or you dont.. This one was pretty good.. FEARLESS http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446059/ I really liked this one. Hard to find really good movies in this genre, but this had cool effects, amazing stunts, etc. Also re-watched an old favourite of mine, House of Sand And Fog.. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0315983/ If you have not seen that one.. I suggest you go get it.. :-) now list YOUR favourites you seen so far this month.. ;-) |
The Departed was pretty good.
King Kong was excellent up until the part where they take him off the island. |
Clerks II - excellent
School For Scoundrels - funny Talladega Nights - funny The Illusionist - much better than i expected and I expected a LOT The Prestige - watching it tonight, expecting a lot from this as well Running With Scissors - talk about a fucked up movie. I couldnt form an opinion the movie was so weird I think that's all I rented/watched this month |

As far as DVD releases go .. I really enjoyed Lord Of War with Nicolas Cage .. damn good flick
also, Davinci Code Click the Notorious Betty Page and lastly, after that Evil Chris thread on classic Comedey (he was discussing What about Bob) I found myslef at the video store and spotted " Raising Arizona" for sale .. Damn I snatched it up, One of my all time favorite Classic comedey films out there. |
