My Comments On Sanjaya Malakar
Okay, so his name gets mentioned last night and people cheered. This poor kid honestly had guts to stand up to the many who he knew voted not because they liked his voice, but because they hated it.
How sad to be made fun of on stern and other shows telling people to vote for you because they hate the concept of the show that was kind enough to give you a shot. He did his best, and it simply wasn't good enough. Instead of letting him die away with grace, he was dragged out week after week to be humiliated in front of millions as the bad singer who won't go away. Yes I am glad he is gone, he has a good soul and heart. Kept his composure and confidence up. All the best to him.. now .. lets get on to see who is really the best singer of them all. http://msnbcmedia2.msn.com/j/ap/capm...0817.widec.jpg PS> I would sooooo do his sister http://www.nationalledger.com/artman...li_malakar.jpg |
People create this reality and they love that the masses has this kind of power on a show as huge as Idol.
|
Simon had been telling him for weeks that his performance was sub-par and not worthy of the show, and that America was keeping him on it.
Then, when asked by Ryan Seacrest if he thought he deserved to still be there, he kept saying "Yes of course"... Chalk it up to being immature maybe, but what he should have said was that he took Simon's words to heart and will do his best to improve. American Idol is becoming a joke anyway. I hope this is the last season. |
Glad he had the confidence to continue on! Although I won't miss him! Now maybe we'll get the real show! I don't think I be watching if they have it again next season! It just has lost what it was supposed to be about!

Honestly, anybody that makes the final cut deserves to get voted for, period. Am I wrong in the fact that America gets to vote who wins? Obviously not if the producers are willing to ensure they let win who they want to win. Thus, the show is meaningless dribble. |
Yeah.. I know what you mean... Sanjaya... yada ...da da.... la.. da.. anyway.. I'd do his sister too : )

He bothered me the day I saw him during the auditions! I don't know what it is...Maybe it's his smile...But I CAN'T stand him! With that being said He's probably going to make a shit load of money...So good for him I guess.
|
If they want ratings boost next year, they should let people vote judges off too... lmao

The veto power totally ruins the whole point of voting. They're pretty much saying "you get to vote, but if we don't agree with you, we're going to overrule you anyway". I am not a fan of the show, and have never watched anything but the horrible auditions for a laugh. I personally see more value in it being turned in to a joke and the tables being turned on Simon. Watching the guy who shit on everyone get some back very likely made a lot of viewers happy. |
Just think, this guy's name will probably remembered long after everyone has forgotten the winners of previous seasons...great marketing
What makes AI so popular is the interactivity aspect. |

But I've never been a big fan of American Idol. I'm already looking forward to Big Brother 8. Starts in July. :) |
This was the highlight of AI Season 6 for me.
The Bush Baby Remix.... enjoy. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/x0JlS5uLUIc"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/x0JlS5uLUIc" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> |
