I have a problem, I need a QUICK solution!

Well to me it qualifies as a problem as you know I'm going to be wearing next to nothing this weekend on the beach but I had a little accident last friday and fell (actually tripped on my dog) and got the worlds WORST black bruises on my legs it looks horrible :geez: Ok so we've all established I'm shallow and would love to find a miracle way to get rid of the ugly bruise...Anyone have any ideas? Chris did mention me going topless on the beach to divert the attention away from my bruises...lol

I'm serious any ideas? I heard vinegar, massage...Anything? :laughout: Leg amputation...lol Why do these things happen when you're just about to leave on holiday and I'm so proud to show off my new white string bikini :confused: Big mean bruise!

I saw this thread.. and I thought to myself.. "hey... lets try the interwebs and see what is on the information highway"..

i really don't have any solutions to that one. bruise the rest of your legs so it all blends in but that would be too painful. you know what, go strut your stuff and have a great time.

Take 1 - 10mg tablet of Zinc every day. It will help the bruise heal faster. Trust me. It works. I've had bruises practically since the day I was born. When I get a really bad one, I take Zinc, (1 pill / day for a week) and it helps to heal them. You'll notice the bruise lightening and/or disappearing quickly,(depending on how deep the bruise is), by 2-3 days.

When I was younger, I really didn't care so much. Now that I'm older, I'm more self conscious of them. A few years ago, I even had some woman approach me in a grocery store trying to tell me there is a womans shelter in the area for abused women. I explained to her that I'm not abused. She refused to believe me and instead said, "That is okay dear. We all lie about it in the beginning.". After that episode, I've been self conscious of them.

*Do not take more than 1 - 10mg tablet per day. Too much Zinc is not good for the body. *

Applying heat to the bruise helps as well. The heat will cause blood to flow to the area. The fresh blood will remove the dry blood under the skin.

Ok so the verdict is in! Hot compress do the trick! Thanks Jen you were right on! I see a big difference so I should be almost clear by Sunday! But by the looks of it I won't be wearing a bikini, they're calling for rain all week...lol :laughout: Oh well!
