How very sad. They're saying this morning that it looks like it was a murder suicide. :(

Really sad news.

Blew me away when I read this last night. Normally i watch Raw but wasn't home last night and came home to read results online and was shocked to read about this.. the details as they come out are quite surprising and disturbing....

theres alot of unanswered questions and theories - sad that such a life that had the potential for so much more was lost, as well as the family

wow so apparently it was a murder suicide for sure. he affixiated his wife and son and placed a bible beside them. Then he hung himself the next day with his weight cords.

I wonder what caused all this...

Holy shit...That's sad. What ever happened to good old divorce?!? I mean I could understand killing your spouse (not literally) but your own child?!? :confused: There's got to be much more to this story....He must of been VERY sick...

He's wife couldn't get herself to divorce him, she was too intimidated by him. Tho she did try back in 2003....

This is a tragic event. I've seen it posted on other boards, and thoughts have varied from "no matter what, I hope he rests in peace," to "I don't care what sort of man he was, what he did makes hims scum of the earth."

Initially, I was shocked to hear this. I havent watched wrestling in a few years, other than a show here and there with freinds. I first saw this on Yahoo, and I's like OMG...Eddie Gurreo had died recently. These are young guys (relatively speaking).

Now, to hear about how it looks like, with steroids, he killed his wife, their 7 yr old, and hung himself...on the one hand, I'm outraged by what he did. At worst, he should have just taken his own life. On the other, in my main job, I have talked with a lot of people, including those who had attempted suicide, and I can't help but feel sympathy for all of them. What was happening that drove a person beyond the point of no return? It's tragic, none the less, and while his career has now been tainted, I wish the best to those that have survived, and that both the families can cope with what happened.

never heard of the guy, then again I was never a fan of fake sports like wrestling
