Perception IS reality. We, the man race, are very 2 dimensional. When we have a simple answer that makes us feel warm and fuzzy, we don't go looking for a complicated answer that's unpleasant.

What else would explain why perfectly sane men stand in front of clergy, the public, and our friends and say "Forsaking all others, till death do us part?"

I mean, REALLY?
