Your best mixed drink?
 

Tell what your best mixed drink is... and I don't mean pouring a beer. :laughout:

I tend to make a very good martini.

2oz of the cleanest gin (Tanquery or Bombay Sapphire)
1oz (or less) of Vermouth

Shaken over a lot of ice until very cold and strained into a proper martini glass.
Add 2 (rinsed) mammoth olives on a little plastic sword.

1. Cut the lime in quarters then cut them crosswise.
2. Put lime and sugar in a tall glass and mash with a pestle (or a wood spoon, rolling pin, etc).
3. Add the same amount of liquor on the lime juice and stir.
4. Add ice and stir again.
5. In Brazil, the guys that sell it at the beach put another glass upside down over it, hold both with one hand and shake.

Brown rhum(at least 8 yo) on the rocks.

But I think that i just quit drinking so whatever...

Pina Colada

Mojitos baby, on a hot summer day,
mint, cane sugar, limes, muddle the shit out of those, add to glass, add ice, add rum, top with soda.

Grey Goose and fresh blood orange juice, splash of lime juice.. shake the shit out of it with ice.. pour, swallow.

I bartended for 12 years.. I can mix em up.

It all depends if I want to slowly drift off into my own world or be drop kicked. I like variety and I wouldn't say anything that I make is ordinary.

Sometimes a pina colada, daquari or a amaretto coffee is nice... other times hard mixed 3-1 vodka and juice drinks or pure shots (Jager, Vokda, Rum, Rye, Whisky etc) is needed. I had a pornstar once and that was really nice, but like I could remember what was in it...

Lately I've been trying all different kinds of martini's and I really enjoy them. Mind you I have to drink a few to get me places but that means I get to try that many more flavours!

My mom makes awesome cocktails... she's the kind of person that rims the glass with pure chocolate for a chocolate martini or decorates your glass with some fruit, for no reason then to make you feel special.

Reading my post makes it sound like I'm an alcoholic... I'm really not...
