Mardi Gras and Crawfish!
 

Ah...Mardi Gras time is here and so is crawfish season! I finally realized this last Sunday when I went to go look at sofas and got caught up in parade traffic. And then I went to my friend's store and we was finally selling HOT BOILED CRAWFISH!

Anyone else here eat crawfish? Do you suck the heads? :D

I love crawfish (guess it helps I live in baton rouge eh?) i do not however suck the head, thats tourist shit, like lucky people err lucky dogs :D

I only had crawfish once. At the ACME oyster bar. They were pretty good, but not as good as the 3 dozen oysters I had.
I have to get back for a visit to New Orleans... what a great town. :)

ACME is pretty good. I've never had their crawfish but definitely have sat at the bar and ate tons of raw oysters. I remember last Mardi Gras I was in there eating and these two chicks were flashing everybody...and there were two cop in there eating too and they just had big smiles on their face. haha

I had a blue pet lobster (lobster Bob)
he turned out to be a crawfish... which was cool because I wasn't sure what the hell I would do with him if he ever "grew up"
kind-of like a kitten to cat thing- So much cuter when the're little...
but to answer your question NO! I was out eating at this big crazy-expensive chinese seafood place and they gave me a free ticket for lobster.. I'm thinking alright, I'll just give it to someone here that didn't think of him as a pet. would you believe that he brought the whole damn lobster to the table and broke him apart RIGHT in front of me?!?
I left.
and Bob is no longer with us
ps. we didn't eat him
