What is your favourite Christmas show?
I'd have to say that mine is "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"... with Boris Karloff doing the voice of the Grinch. What a holiday classic that is.
Got a favourite one? http://srtv.on.ca/Grinch.jpg |
Without a question - A Christmas Carol.. Black and White version with Alistair Sims
http://cache.eb.com/eb/image?id=90545&rendTypeId=4 I hear that when it was written back in the 1843 Dicken's use to read it every christmas. In the 1900's Barrymoore then read it on the radio every eve until the late 1930s when hollywood did the first version of the book. At the time they wanted Barrymoore to play the part, but he got into an accident on the last film so he suggested Reginald Owen's. http://www.erbzine.com/mag6/scrooge2.jpg The rest is history. |
A Christmas Story......."You'll shoot your eye out!!!" :laughout: :laughout: :laughout:

Oh I like Rudolph too. The other one I like that is kinda clay-mation is "Santa Claus is coming to town". The one that is narrated by Fred Astaire. I always liked that one when I was a kid.
The Burgermeister cracks me up. :) |

I don't have any favorite Christmas shows really. Wasn't a big thing in my household growing up.
