Stupid newbie 2257 question
I am a "sorta" newbie. I had a few sites back around 2000-2001 and then got so busy with my IT job I had to drop those sites. However, I'm considering getting back in the game with a site and see how things go again.
Can someone point me toward some info on the new 2257 rules. My big questions are: 1- do I have to keep records for content provided by sponsors or do I point the 2257 link to their site? 2- if I have a link site (like a tgp) do I have to have 2257 links? I know this has probably all been covered a million times, but if someone could point me in the right direction or give me a quick run down on the rules I would really appreciate it! |
The Free Speech Coalition has the information on 2257. http://www.freespeechcoalition.com/F...eview&coid=137 Your best bet is to consult with an attorney on how the law applies to you and your business.

My advice is to comply with 2257 total. Get the records and keep them safe.
