My first pair of Dr Martens!
 

Yesterday, one of my students arrived with the most amazing pair of boots I had ever seen. I looked at them, tried them on, and literally fell in love. I quickly noticed they were Dr marten boots! I couldn't believe it!

She paid 250$ plus tax... Ouch... So, I went online and checked it out and the exact same pair of boots on the Dr Marten web site is 150$!!! Including shipping and handling, they are 194$!!! Since my student's boots were the perfect size, I knew what size I needed and bought a pair online!

I can't wait to get them!

Yeah - Docs have come a long way. I bought my first and only pair in grade nice... six-holes, green stitching.

those are hot boots, and in the realm of things, not too pricey!

Yeah they look great.. I have always worn DOCs. My advice is to do a lil slip test in the snow/ice, my 8 hole boots have great grip on the snow and ice, my shoes though, I call the them the Doc martin death shoe, they are crazy slippery.
Nothing like a back flip and landing on the cold pavement.
