Kenny... I did the LA to Vegas drive back in January but I did it at night. That doesn't mean it wasn't interesting though. When you cross the state line it's like you're coming into a space station with the two border casinos, and then about 10 miles out of Vegas you start to see weird lights on the horizon.

I did the drive from Vegas to Phoenix several years ago and it was very cool. If you can, stop for the night at the Grand Canyon. It's time well spent!

Yes, the Phoenix-Vegas drive was an awesome experience. I'm not sure which route we took exactly, but we pretty much followed the signs. There must be really only one good way to go because we ran into Janessa, Bucky and Lance by complete random chance at the Hoover Dam (the last pic). We didn't hit the Grand Canyon, but we saw lots of other cool stuff, both times through the day.

It's definitely worth the trip.
