I'm Getting Fat Again
I'm pinching a bit more than an inch again.I don't feel like a sexy beast anymore, nor did I ever look like one. I can't fit into my 34" jeans anymore, which means its time to start my jogging routine again. I'm 6'1" and 210 lbs. I need to get back under 200 lbs. Anyone else here puttin on the inches besides me and FunB. I've been on a junk food binge lately.Every year I go through this same shit. I hate jogging and it takes me about 2 months to loose the tire. Anybody here uses Hydroxycut or Xenadrine ?

Bobby,
if you just watch a bit what you're eating you don't have those problems... I mean junk food is just about the worst you can do... |
BV:
You are in same boat I was a few months ago... up to 210 and size 36 jeans... ugh! I simply started counting calorie intake and filled up on foods that were low calorie... Fresh fruit works very well, white grapes, bananas, and papaya all seem to have a natural appetite supressant (at least for me the do). Rather than grabbing a snickers, get a handful of grapes, or a banana. One trick I heard ages ago was if you get munchies, build a gallery and submit it first. This fellow's reasoning was even if you stayed fat, you'd eventually have the coin for liposuction...lol Drinking lots of water helps too. It took me about 3 months but I'm back down to 190... Of course you could always go jogging... sounds like work to me though...lol |
Funny to see this thread, because over the past winter I have also put on some pounds. I don't know if it has to do with Funbrunette being pregnant or not... (I read somewhere that men will often gain weight during their other half's pregnancy), but in any case, it will soon be time for me to shape up as well.
Mark, I like the exercise bit. Especially working with weights and running on the treadmill. So that, and watching what I'm eating a little better should get me back down to about 175 I hope.. |
EC:
Don't get me wrong... I like exercise... I'm just picky about types I want to do now... Not sure how it was in Canada, but I've done all the miles running, and thousands of situps I want to do in my lifetime as PT...lol... Now I content myself with hitting a little white ball with a curved stick and cursing my lack of skill... Unfortunately finding that little white ball under 8 inches of snow is a bitch (although putting is a snap cause you can dig a trench to the hole...lol) so I have to wait this one out for a few more weeks before I get to hit the links every week. Honestly, full time webmastering isn't anything close to a healthy lifestyle. Most folks that have been in it more than a few years and ever hit that 'zone' mode where ya live in front of pc for 30 days at a stretch getting projects off ground have had to deal with the weight issue. Basically, you have to unplug and walk away; make time for yourself and realize the net will be here when you come back. Last summer was best one I had in long time cause I made myself go out and play one round a week and hit the range one other day of the week. Fuck, my pastey white ass actually got a tan and the fresh air was wonderful... It also was one of my better production summers so those recharging moments have biz benefits as well. BTW Chris... you need to loose weight about as much as I need a third tit... :p |
LMAO!!!! Never thought I'd live to see the day where a bunch of men would be complaining about their weight! :bonk:
How the hell do you think I feel? I can't even see my feet and bending down to pick something up feels like a 45 minutes workout! My back is killing due to my huge breasts :geez: I'm sure you all look great! Skip a beers and hit the gym a few times a week...Or my favorite....Sex! it's the best workout in the world! :D |
go to the gym!! or run out in the free!! fresh air!! I lOVE IT!!

The first time I turned 21, I never even thought about my weight. By the 10th time I turned 21, I thought a bit about it. So, I stopped thinking about it. :laughout: Exercise and eat right. Its the best advise. |

If I start getting the "munchies", I jump my boyfriend's bones. I burn lots of calories, and I forget I'm hungry! :)
Seriously, though, drink lots of fluids, especially water. And, what really helps is cutting out all your refines sugars... white bread, pasta, etc... they taste good, but they sure pack on the pounds! |
I just ate another bag of Famous Amos Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies. Please Help Me People.
