I was watching The Naked Gun about a week ago and looked him up on imdb to see how old he was. 88's pretty damn good. Loved his accent too.

He'll be missed for sure.... "Rich, Corinthian leather!"

He played an amazing Zorro too!

Did you know that the exterior shots for Fantasy Island were shot on an island outside of Hollywood? I found that out on my recent home grown tour of Hollywood over Christmas when we visited the set of scrubs....

On the westward side of the lake is the Queen Anne Cottage, built in 1885, which was used for exteriors in the television series Fantasy Island. In fact, the lake was used on the series where you see the incoming airplane taxiing in with the passengers for that week's show.

I believe this is near where they filmed MASH too.

So we now find the seeds of the true Vid personality, that suave and sophisticated dude with the wink in the Webdreams credits ;)

I prefer to remember Ricardo as the Khan:

Gotta love what fanstasy island brought, a place one could escape to where their fantasies came to life. A happy place, nothing villianous.
