Sushi in San Francisco

It was some of the best I've ever had, and the wine bar at the Taylor Hotel next door has some incredible Pinot Noir in stock too. We had a couple of glasses in there while waiting for our table at Ryoko to open up.

maybe you could start a list of favorite restaurants - i know when i travel i would rather have a recommendation instead of eating at the hotel restaurant

That would be a restaurant review site, which would indeed be fun and enjoyable to create and update, if only there were 40 hours in the day! ;)
