Google Now Offers Encrypted Searches
 
Google has done it again! And this time, they are giving us encrypted searches. As good as it sounds, Lyla Katz's article reveals that this new feature doesn't work on videos, images and maps. I guess this is one of their way of telling us that they can now offer what they've been doing all along.

According to Yahoo.com, the encrypted Google search is beneficial for individuals and businesses to ensure sensitive information isn’t exposed to snoops.

All surfers need to do is type “https” at the beginning of the URL instead of “http.” This sets up an encrypted pipe between the browser and Google so that any search traffic is kept between the user and Google.

I don't really care if Google searches are intercepted by other parties.

yeah I read about that, I don't know if they will achieve their purpose with what they want to do.
