Father James Sadowsky is not a well-known figure of the libertarian
movement. But he is a pioneer. One of a small band of enlightened people who
were meeting regularly in Murray Rothbard's apartment in Manhattan in the
early sixties, to discuss revolutionary ideas which today can be shared with
hundreds of thousands of people through the Internet.

PRIVATE PROPERTY AND COLLECTIVE OWNERSHIP
I propose to attempt a justification of private ownership and then to
analyze the term "collective ownership." I hope to show that this latter
term is without any meaning. Unfortunately, it is often assumed to have
meaning and the existence of such a thing in reality is frequently taken for
granted even by defenders of individual ownership.

ON PROPERTY PUBLIC AND PRIVATE
As James Sadowsky wrote in a classic article nearly four decades ago, "The
question we should ask is not so much whether society has the rights
attributed to it as whether such an entity can be meaningfully said to exist
at all." Since only individuals exist, rights apply to them, not to
collections of them as such.

UNE AUTRE CRISE DU SYSTÈME MONÉTAIRE EN VUE
Les politiciens ont détruit le seul système monétaire viable, basé sur l'or,
car il ne leur laissait pas la marge de manoeuvre pour «régler», à nos

LOGEMENT SOCIAL EN FRANCE
Plus de 20% des logements français appartiennent à la puissance publique ou
à ses dépendances. D'où résultent les logements staliniens que l'on peut

LOI DE ROBIEN SUR LE LOGEMENT: UNE LOI IDIOTE DE PLUS
Le gouvernement s'apprête à mettre en place une nouvelle loi ayant pour
objectif d'augmenter l'offre de logement à louer, et donc de faire baisser

ONTARIO'S COMPULSORY "VOLUNTEER" COMMUNITY SERVICE
Compulsory "volunteer" community service is now an integral part of the
Ontario high school curriculum, without which a student cannot receive a
graduation diploma. Previously, only people convicted of having committed a
criminal offence were required to do compulsory community service as all or
part of their sentences.

Quand j'ai appris qu'un des personnages principaux du nouveau film de Denys
Arcand était un riche capitaliste, je me suis dis «Bon, un autre film qui va
encenser le socialisme! Encore un film où le capitaliste de service sera
