Soooo i have MTV on in another room, and I THINK i hear Sweet Child Of Mine (the song Axl Rose wrote for ME and if you think otherwise fuck off! LMFAO) but UGH it was Sheryl Crow! WTF! Who allowed this blasphemy! I have NO respect for anyone who dated Kid Rock!

What next?!?! Barbra Streisand doing Iron Man?!?! I'm going to take something and lie down..... I can't take this stress!

I accidentally left MTV on when it went all soft and shit, so my day was ruined! LOL I dont listen to any radio stations that would allow Sheryl Crow on em, hence why I've been in the dark. I liked it there!

When she re-did that song, I remember thinking how people would think it sacreligious but personally I think she did a decent job with it...

I don't listen to radio at all (except once in a while the cultural station and radio-canada), especially not the "cool dude so chill" stations. The music they play sucks ass at 99% and I don't like being told what to listen to hehe

WHEW I felt like a moron for a minute there (thanks EvilChris! LOL). Yes mainstream radio sucks ass, and the only time I listen to it is when I'm forced to in someone else's car! lol

Anyone remember CFNY here in Toronto? Used to be the kick ass alternative, now it's The Edge, alternative mainstream but they still don't play Sheryl Crow! :relief:

I am from the lucky bunch that was born before the the pop fluo cheapo 80's. So each time I talk with people that are at least 1 year younger than me (I was born in 79) I can tell them they have no rights because they were born in the 80's.

I love GnR and Sheryl Crow, but I gotta admit that her cover of Sweet Child Of Mine was rather limp.
Some songs just shouldn't be covered.
