Today I received the email you see below. Doesn't quite seem like spam, or a scam. I don't know what to call it. Please help!

I'm offering $5,000 US dollars just for referring a vender which is (Actually RELIABLE in providing the below equipment) Contact details of vendor required, including name and phone #. If they turn out to be reliable in supplying the below equipment I'll immediately pay you $5,000. We prefer to work with vendor in the Boston/New York area.

1. The mind warper generation 4 Dimensional Warp Generator # 52 4350a series wrist watch with z80 or better memory adapter. I get some fucked up email like this, not sure if its scamming, but I think its just a way of confirming emails for spamming, not sure though

That stuff is all made up. He was probably testing your email address to see if it bounced back at him.

Or maybe there was a one pixel graphic hidden in the email that they are watching the stats on. Who knows?

They have a slight engineering problem. Pull start is unreliable. Currently working on electric start, but technology isn't available at this point in time.
