Designing and accepting paypal? ... think again
 

Well after many conversations with paypal regarding whether or not I was safe to process adult design work , and being reassured I was within the regulations ,
Pay pal has now closed my account and seized all funds that were inside , after contacting them this time , I am told that ADULT anything is not in regulations .. and this is a modification of the original plans .

If your designing adult and accepting paypal , get ready .. they're gonna close your account too ...

What really hurts in this, is that your honesty (by reaching out to them) is what got you closed down :bonk:

I was stupid I guess to contact them ..
Had I kept my mouth shut and just went along I probally wouldve been fine ..
Its all good now . Epassporte and stormpay are gonna have me covered ..

What I am wondering is how bad not being able to accept paypal is gonna hurt my business ..
I have processed almost 100k with them since I started .. 99% paypal transations .. with a few Western union trip in between .

paypal is notorious for making up excuses to seize users' assets

I havent had any real problems with paypal to date ..
Account froze a few times for " suspisious" spending . which was quickly reopened once I called and went through all my purchases .
So I trusted them a bit ..
