Full Moons?

Who here believes that Full Moons affect your mood in some way? I believe in this my attitude has been rather nasty all day. I feel ever so evil. Any comments, rants or shut the fuck ups are accepted in this thread. Hugs

I don't see how that's possible. However, when I was in elementary school we did an unscientitic study of "bad behaviour". Oddly us kids were more likely to be unruly around the full moon than at other times.

Interesting I've also read it and have seen it first hand that there are more traffic accidents and domestic disturbances, due to full moons.

I believe it Kat! I always feel stressed and unorganized just before a full moon.

See here we have it! Thanks Laurie, cause today I'm telling you I could fight anyone and I know I'd win. I'm not Mike Tyson by any means but damn this rage inside of me is so intense. LOL

The way my patients have been acting and the strange phone calls to the office, full moon is the only explanation for it. Today, we were beginning to wonder if we somehow changed careers overnight and suddenly were working in a psych ward. <img src="http://www.adultisubmit4u.com/Smile/smileylaughing0.gif" width="50" height="50">

Full moons influence on behavior have absolutely no basis in the present body of knowledge" called science. I.e. experimental method is very difficult to apply to that kind of phenomenon.

That said, there is an apparent correlation that it does affect people.

People are more edgy, old lovers kids are more troublesome in schools, patients dies more in hospitals, etc.

An old lover of mine never fails to call me on full moon nights (+/- 1 day)

I suspect that our parasympathical nervous system (reptilian brain) tends to synchronize with the lunar cycle. Why? I have no idea.
