We just watched Vincent Price in "House of Wax"...

Now *that* is a weak horror movie!

I am not easily scared ... only two movies ever have had any lasting effect on me ....
1973 - The Exorcist and 1981 - The Evil Dead

Most horror movies walk the fine line of comedy with unrealistic effects or (lack of) plot.

Thought the first few Jason movies were pretty good.

ALIEN was scary too...

The Exorcist and Alien would be my top 2 I think.

But the one that scared me the most I can't even remember the name of anymore. It was when I was 5 or 6 years old. We went to the Corral drive-in in Calgary and saw this movie that had to do with witches. I remember there was something involving the witches being drowned in the lake and somebody crashed their car into the lake a couple hundred years after and was possessed by the spirit of one of the witches. That's about all I remember of the movie but I clearly remember having nightmares for several weeks after seeing it. ::-|

How about Psycho? I watched it when I was 15. :o

Poltergeist. Without a doubt. That movie scared the SHIT outta me when I was a kid!!

Exorcist, when i was like 9-10 years old... Damn it freaked me out at that time.
