we are from 11th to 14th of december in new york/manhatten.
do anyboy know a low cost hotel downtown? maybe financial district, central park or timesquare.

If you gotz the cash I would stay at the Fairmont Plaza Hotel right downtown. It does'nt get any nicer!!

Depending on how much you are looking to spend, i'm sure you can find something in mid town around times square for something at 100$ a night.

The Mellennium Broadway (4 star - 45th & Broadway - right at Times Sq.) sells rooms at a walk-in rate of $390/night, but you can book your stay thru an agent (such as HOTELS.COM or ORBITZ) and get the same rooms for as low as $125/night, depending on forcasted occupancy etc.

one of the nicest ART DECO hotels in Manhattan :D

For a decent hotel adjacent to Times Square, try the Edison.
It's clean, and affordable. :D
