Search Engine Question...
I was noticing a few listings in Google and DMOZ showing up as domain.com/directory
the / at the end of the directory isn't placed since I didn't specify a page when I was making the submissions. Ex.: Say I was submitting a site called "amateur whores"... http://www.domain.com/amateurwhores Above is what shows up on the SE results page. Some of my traffic is going to my 404 pages while others correctly go to the specified link. Any thoughts? |
ok who is our resident SE whiz? :)
It sure isn't me.... lol |

Please list your site. It's easier that way to see what is going on.
Is Google displaying old cache pages? Have these results appeared since Brandy or has your traffic been experiencing 404 one time and the correct page another time before this last update? <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/r/biggrininvert.gif" width="15" height="15"> |
It's a DMOZ thing. I figured it out :)
