Windows XP Home Edition password saving...help!

Does anyone know anything about Windows XP Home Edition password storage? My puter will not save any passwords whatsoever. I check the box that asks if you want to store your password, but it never keeps any of them :-((

Help!!

Magick that sounds more like a problem with your browser?
Are you using IE 6.0 ?

I would look into the options there...

XP comes with 6.0 automatically. That's pretty odd, I believe there actually is some security setting where it won't save any passwords (for public computers, or maybe if you set your XP login up weird) but you'd be better off on google.

The thing is it is not just happening on my browser, Outlook won't save my password either, as well as other password protected programs. :-( It's extremely frustrating...

i think if you look in the options feature for your internet settings...you will see a security bar...you might have disabled the ability for your system to store any cookies...or you might have locked out all sites from sending any active x or exe files...you can selcet which sites to let through though...

Tried looking there as well and checking the settings... no luck :-(

That's weird. I've never seen that problem on XP. Wish I could help.

That would annoy the heck outta me, too. Good luck on a fix, though. :)
