Post a pic of your first car

The first car I ever bought was a 1972 Plymouth Fury III.
HUGE car with two doors even! It had air conditioning, but it didn't work very well. AM radio only. A big Chrysler 318 under the hood took me to speeds of about 130mph. I don't have any (good) pics of mine, but I found one identical on the web. |

I had a 1982 Buick Century limited 3.0L as my first car. I bought it used in 1998 when I was 17 years old. For the life of me, I have searched google and cannot find a single pic of it. If you can find one post it.
(Note, front end needs to be fucked up to show a good representation of my first car) This is my current car: http://www.xnetplus.com/DCP_3336.JPG |
i'll let you know if I ever get one. Having a car in London isn't all that practical.

LOL! Yes... for those of you who didn't know it, I grew up in the heart of Amish country. Horse & buggies and road apples are a common site on our roads. My first car was a '90 Hyundai Excel. The car lasted a whole 5 days before I managed to roll it a few times. |
Come to think of it, I really liked that Plymouth. It kicked ass!
I gave it to a friend of mine right before I moved overseas. He drove it for about a year and then it started to break down. It went to the junk yard and they made Miatas out of it. :p |
Here's a fun thing to do, try to think of ALL of the cars you've owned:
In Order: 1982 Buick Century Ltd. 1981 Delta 88 (The Loveboat) 1984 Cavalier Type-10 (Rolled it) 1981 Honda Prelude (Blew the Engine) 1985 Dodge Colt (Blew the Engine) 1982 Nissan Sentra 1981 Toyota Celica 1988 Mazda 626 LX 1985 Dodge Shadow 1998 Nissan SX200 SE-R 1998 BMW 328 iS & 1992 CIVIC EX (currently) |

tejano B, I know what you are saying, your first car was a beast, I love the mustang's of the 70's, real donks with sweet tunes.
There is a major car event here in oz once a year called the Summer Natts and there is this dude "Gary Myers" he has the same type of mustang and he has been burnout king many years in a row. He and his car are so good, Tyre company's pay him to smoke there tyres in the burnout comps. I presently own a 1968 HK Monaro running a 327ci chev, its 85% finished after taking her off the road for a few years while I moved states. I shall one day show a pic of her again if this thead is still active in a year or so. Great cars guys, the camel powered wagon made my night really.. +))) |

I would ask a girl out on a date and when i went to pick them up i can remember sometimes their fathers would be more interested in the car than in what time i am planning on brining their daughters home. Mostly to the drive-ins as you dont wanna be leaving a HK out in some parking lot to go see a movie at village at some shopping mall. I got married when i was 21 and the HK was our wedding car, its was a real treat to be driven around in the back seat of my baby just newly married to my sheiler.. I shall never sell her.. infact i am devorced now but i kept my HK =) So if you know how much a HK means to a aussie holden car lover then you would understand why I will never sell her... Hey mate, thanks for showing me that pic... I was there that day with the sydney monaro club. we where on the far left.. there was some nice EH's infront of you right? Did you go down to wangaratta victoria? for the 30th birthday of the HK? here is a pic using my webcam, it might not come out too good as i said it is 85% complete at the moment to my liking.. |
My first: 1971 Mach I Mustang, Orange with racing stripes. It had the 351 Cleveland in it.
