In light of your name. Geckos all over our place. Had to get a pic of this cute little bastard with my finger tip there as a reference for size.

chodadog, Geckos are here in bris also, but they are a lighter color, i shall webcam one if i see one on the wall...

I'm actually in Brisbane, too. I was quite surprised by how dark this one was. I think they must get llighter as they get older, 'cause most of them are pretty pale in comparison this this one.

yeah.. and infact my dog has one in his mouth right now. He plays with them with his paw for a bit then chews them and i never see them ever again..

My dog seems to enjoy chewing on the odd lizard here and there too, unfortunately! He ripped up a blue tongue the other day. Had to put it out of it's misery 'cause he didn't finish the job, which sucked, 'cause i really love having lizards in the yard.

My cat is strange.. Toys with them for a while, flicks them about, but doesn't actually eat or kill them.

Hi Gecko.. I saved this poor little guy 5 minutes ago, i leave the windows here open in the night and sometimes there are about 4 or 5 of them all running about. My dog is too quick for them most of the time and well like this guy looks half eaten.

Maybe the darker one is a male gecko and the lighter ones are female? Maybe it's gene pool is a non native gecko. Somewhere down the line, a gecko or two hitched a ride in some tourists luggage and then started their family in their new home. Maybe the darker gecko isn't eating the right bugs or maybe is eating better than the other lizards, so it looks different? Maybe it's a different species of gecko?

Ahhh... whatever... Just ignore me. I finally had a really good nights sleep. It's 7AM and I am already thinking too much so far today. <img src="http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/h0/rolleye.gif" width="15" height="15">

The lizard is pretty cute though!

Awww... the poor lizard. His tail will grow back, but still, it's has to hurt and he's going to be a wee bit off balance until the new one grows back.

I have a stack of the little guys in here too - I collected all the eggs i could find and made sure they all made it out alive hehe
