Drinking beer while working, does that make you?
 

Does it make you slower or does it open up your mind to think that you can do anything with the pc infront of you?

I am not talking about over drinking, just more of a slow drink but a strong one.

I think it does both. Either way production goes down, this I have noticed.

I don't routinely drink as I'm working. If I have a day that I don't like anything I have written, or have a mental block, then I will drink a glass of wine or have a beer while soaking in a hot bath. That usually does the trick and then I can go back into work mode.

I just personally choose not to get into the habit of drinking while I'm working. It would be too easy to kill a bottle of wine or a 6 pack of beer or more in a day.

Me personally, and I will be honest, I like to toke while I work, thats why I stay up and work at night, so noone else is around. It just relaxes me and helps me focus, otherwise Im getting distracted by shit and cant keep my thoughts..weird huh, thats actually why I started smoking, it calmed my attention problems down.

for everyone that says drugs are bad yes they are but for a kid with attention problems the herb is golden.

I have not drank while working but I have puffed on occaision...
I have always thought that smoking cleansed the brain of its inhibitions and allowed me to be more creative when I was designing or whatever, lately though I am off the pot and enjoy working on my natural brain power...

I am not big beer fan i better preffer wine but i don't belive that drinking any alcohol will open up my mind from personal experience
