Well I can only comment on the handful of times I visited Switzerland. I lived in Germany from 88 to 92. Went to Bern once to watch a Canada/Russia hockey game (it was a tie 3-3)...
Went skiing a bunch of times too... I'll never forget skiing in Saas-Fe. Gorgeous place...

Santa Fe is really a nice place for skiing but during peek season it's just way to expensive...
