Something a little different than my sunset pics...

I had a visitor last week who had never been to Vancouver before, so I showed her some of the sites and got some pretty decent pics (I think) at the same time.

Thought I'd share ;)

Nice pics as always HOMEZ..... the Cappo suspension bridge looks alot nicer in the sunshine than the torrential rainfall I was in walking across it.

How close is that bridge to the city? I'd love to see it on my next trip to Vancouver.

Not far at all.. it's only about 15 minutes north or so. It's up in North Vancouver a little ways... very easy to get to.

cool pics Stuart.. I wanna walk across that bridge! looks like i have to talk "someone" into coming with me for a holiday

Evil Chris 07-20-2004 09:59 AM

StuartD I'm going to be visiting that bridge next month.
I'm told it's a tourist trap though!

But it reminds me of that Nissan commercial where the guys drive their car out onto a suspension bridge and get rocked to sleep. :D

I recently bought myself a decent printer, and some glossy paper and printed out that flower pic.....

and let me tell you...

If I didn't know better, I'd swear to God it was a professional photo with major equipment and printed in a print shop.

Honestly... I mean, I'm not bragging because quite frankly, I'm blown away. I simply can't believe it. It's definitely the flagship kick ass pic of my entire collection :)

Canon Powershot A70. It's relatively cheap but it kicks major ass compared to other cameras in it's price range.

I have a nikon d1, and love it. but I noticed so many photos taken with low pixels and super cheap models are in really nice quality.

I still have my old Powershot S20, I think thats an older version than yours, but with a lil tweaking and some post production, the stuff came out pretty good.

Your flower pic is really nice, shows you do not need top of the line to come up with great pics.. ;-)
