Windows 3.1
 

I still have my copy of it on diskettes somewhere in a box.
I'd be curious to set it up on an old PC and play around with it now.

Does *anyone* still use it for whatever purpose?

G'day Chris, I don't even know if I kepted the dos 6.22 disks which would be required to be able to install Win3.1. I think I left them in Sydney. Wow Chris that was so long ago.

I no longer use win3.1, but if I wanted to play this old golf game, I would install it just for that. I remember the first Links Golf was great.

HAHA holy shit! I thought I was the only person that like that old ass game! My first PC with an internet connection was running 3.1 and man did it suck! but that game ruled!

funny you should mention this, I just went through about 100 CDs yesterday and chucked all my really old stuff like windows 3.1

why would you bother installing it again, wasn't it enough of a nightmare the first time through!

some of the old games are the best. I LOOOOOVE 2400AD but it only comes in 5 1/8 floppy, and thats if you can magane to find it in a shop that sells old used shit.

when I used to have more free time on my hands I'd install it on my pentium class computers and "drool" over the lightning speed of my computer.

Problem is the software can't really do anything up to todays standards.

take an empty pentiumIII and give it a shot though.
If you copy all your DOS install files and all the win3.1 files to your harddrive then install it all from there it's a total trip to see how you've got the entire system installed in 5 minutes. :)

threw them out a couple months ago

I just threw out the user manual for it!

i still like playing Galaga when I go to the pub :D
