In my last galleries 013 and 014 i calculate CTR
in 1300 views my galleries i receive 19 clicks to my sponsor So my CTR is 19/1300=1,5%? Its bad ratio? i dont know... viewed paged are visits uniq or hits this pages? Looking at those galleries again for yourself, I had noticed that your text color:#DB6D00 , & link color:#E10000 On gallery #008 too my eyes the color of the link and text look almost the same, meaning without reading the link text I would not know where to click. Same can be noticed on #009 also. #011 I see the background color is kind of hinding the link. My guess is that #010 and #012 would have received the higher ctr between the 5 of them, ofcourse if all 5 received the same exposure. -- I would like to add if I may, that the other day I learnt something from Bec the other day on the site eroticbydesign.com and the page colorblocks.html Thanks Bec *wave* |

It's not so much about how many links you have going out. You could have 20 links, but if nothing entices them to click the link, it won't matter. It's all about getting into the surfers head and making it so they have no other choice than to click that link to access what it is to satisfy their needs. It's about providing the right amount of tease combined with the right text that they just have to click that link to get more.

1300 / 19 = 1:68
It is handier to express it in ratio form. From previous experience, over several months, we started at a CTR of around 1:60, and then, fine tuning the design of certain galleries, we got 1:40. But it also depends on the quality of the material. Give them the very best material you can afford, but cut it in a way that they can't cum from it. That way, they'll click through and possibly buy. The best template in the world is useless if you feed them with bad stuff, for they won't even bother. Ditto if you feed them with good stuff that will make them cum, for they'll free-ride back to free-cum but never click through. That's my experience with it. |
