Is Europe the new goldmine?
 

My boss Daniel and Lanny Barbie are in Berlin for the Venus trade show. It's the biggest show in the world I guess. He's already done a lot of business with guys from the LA video biz and mostly all of them are in Berlin. It's a combined show... anything and everything adult including internet.

Maybe it's time for the north american internet biz to start paying attention!

Lanny is signing for Private Video at the show. I'll try to post some pics from the show when I get them.

Its a great show for sure. More from the states/canada should def participate in the european shows.

We will definitely be doing more of the euro shows... venus has been very successful for us.

It's definitely a very good place to be. Especially if you have business that crosses into dvd, etc. Even if you sell sex toys it's a good show.

We really need to start going to more european shows...we discussed this the other day.

If I'm not mistaken, the Venus Messe in Berlin is more video/DVD oriented than internet. So I'm not sure if you could classify it as the biggest internet show in the world.

seriously, though, Europe has been good for years, but it works best with some language filtering and/or geotargeting plus country-specific billing solutions!

I wasn't actually saying it was the biggest internet show in the world. I meant it's the biggest Adult show in the world. Internet is a pretty big part of it but of course not the biggest part when you get the DVD guys in there. Seems like a big percentage of the Euro webmasters hit the show.

I'm sure that's probably true. We get a certain amount of Eoropean signups but we really haven't done much to optimize for that except use ccbill which supports a few different languages.
