I don't take much notice to the vb codes.

yeah, vb is it's own little world/code style/rules... unto everything there is a hack... lol

currently we don't use VB codes... it's straight HTML.

(until people start to mess with it too much) LOL

Yes, but the system will parse things like a URL and automatically link it unless it is written using special commands... that's more what I was referring to above...

Example:
This will link automatically...
http://www.intersmart.com

vs

This will not be linked...
http://www.intersmart.com

not a very good reason to leave a BBS, especially one as cool as X-Nations. I guess Rictor wasnt here for him to argue with so he decided to move on...;-)

I haven't been to a board where that process is easy.

Any that I've been to use the whole img tag thing.

All confusion put aside, I put some heavy thinking behind what had been said. Reviewing previous posts made by our new member here and think, one day if Lazzlo returns, I would say G'day again. There is nothing wrong when people disagree and come out and say it.

lmao people! I am not leaving! What does "ces't le vie!" mean anyways? I thought it meant "thems the brakes" or something in french. lol. About the image thing, I posted a pic the other day, and either I am retarded or was too drunk, but I could'nt find how to upload a pic on a post. I still can't. Thats all. No biggie. No uploading images here, thats cool, reallllllly not a big deal. Sorry for any misunderstanding guys.

Lazzlo, You can't upload pics to the board. You will need to host them on a site of your own and link to them. When you hit "post reply" there is an image tag button "IMG" that will create the VB link for you through Javascript. :xhappy:

I thought it ment something close to "see you later", either way, I was fucking with ya about Rictor, you two crack me up going at each other...lol... anyone not taking a second to follow the ongoing antics of these 2 is missing some comic relief. I expect pics from Vegas.

I know that and I did that no problem, just sometimes you don't like whipping out the ftp uploader and trying to remember a domain ya got without hotlink protection and then trying to remember where the damn image is on the box.

AH HA! I notice you CAN upload a pic here now if you hit "post reply", the option is there, but not on the main thread "quick reply" because there is no "advanced reply" button. Is this new?

XNations is not a new 3.0.0 (or higher) version of VB. So the quick reply button is a hack (albeit an approved one).

Newer versions of VB have an advanced quick reply box.
However, we have no immediate plans to upgrade past this version of VB.

Dude your always hunting and fishing, Im gonna have to come up and visit you and go fishing. I havent been in a few years but spent the majority of my youth hunting and fishing. I miss it I just dont have time. That and because last time I tried getting a fishing license I was told I was denied and I needed to contact the wildlife gaming commision. I still dont know why it was denied, never got a straight answer.
