It appears there is a way to beat the SP2 popup blocker.

Go to www.christycanyon.com and click something. You'll notice that your browser becomes taken over by the vivid.com websites.

I'm not java guru, but it looks like they are just checking the SP versions and settings then using a creative object tag id to launch consoles on SP2's...
