Mobile phone alerts

Cool... just what I was waiting for.

Yahoo has been beta testing cell phone alerts. I just set mine up to let me know how my favourite sports teams are doing during games.

If your phone isn't listed, you can still set it up like a pager, which is all I wanted in the first place.

so Chris, what carrier are you listed with, as i only see the 6 main US carriers?

I put my phone down as a pager... so no carrier was required. I'm with Fido, though.

All I really wanted was alert notification of sports scores. :)
