Sunday's Colts loss had so much more to do with the final kick of the game. The defense let the Steelers pass up the middle every time they tried it. They also gave Ben no problems at all getting rid of the ball and when they ran the ball (which was often), they were making the first downs they needed. Heck, they went for it on 4th down twice in a row and made it albeit by inches.
The offence was very disappointing too. I think Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne caught one pass each all day. The stretch play with James simply did not work, and hasn't been working for most of the 2nd half of the season. I don't know why they thought it would work on Sunday against a hungry Pittsburgh D.
It was just a poor showing overall from the coaching on down. The fans at the RCA dome had every right to be devastated.
