The connotation of the word "cute" seems to include "small" for many.
Although...elephants are cute. Whales are cute. So are hippopatomi.
None of the above can be considered "small" unless they are compared to a T-rex, which is neither small nor cute. (They are also extinct, which may or may not say something.)
So, stacey - if you're still reading this - I think whether or whether or not that is considered harsh would depend on whether or not you are at eye level with said organ, smile at it, and immediately gulp it into your mouth. Then I do not believe the gentleman will consider it a harsh remark. In fact, I believe that - should he survive - he will be hoisting a few in a bar come the morrow and bragging about his "cute" member.
