It was one of the Sid & Marty Krofft shows from the 70's. This kid falls into a giant magic hat backstage at a magic show and ends up in this magical land where everyone is a hat.

The fun part is that the kid who falls into the had was played the kid who played Bobby Brady in the Brady Bunch.
